Excavation Services

We provide excavation services for basic repairs to septic systems such as digging open septic tanks, manhole extensions (risers), outlet and inlet line repairs, baffle repairs, and distribution box cleaning and repairs. 

Septic tanks can be buried anywhere from 6 inches to 10 feet below the ground, requiring hand digging or excavation to make them accessible.  We strongly recommend having a manhole extension or riser installed when your tank is buried more than 12″ below ground level.  Manhole extensions will make servicing your septic tank much easier in the future by eliminating the need to dig when your tank needs serviced, saving you time and money. Extensions also allow you easy access to your system for future repairs.

The images to the right show the progression of installing a manhole extension using a double-center lid. Please note that if your tank already has a manhole shaped lid, the large concrete replacement lid will not be required – only the extension (black pipe) will be required.
